Life is short and the world is wide
There’s nothing more exciting than planing a trip to a new part of the world by yourself First you can’t make your mind up, struggle to find the best hotel, the cheapest flight and the most adventures excursion. After you read so much about your chosen destination, put multiple sources in consideration, everything just fall in place. As soon you settle your horses towards that new exciting place, you’re immense proud and happy about every single part of your home-made travel itinerary.
That feeling is one of the reasons why I plan my trips all by myself for almost 3 years now. With the greatest joy I visited 5 out of 7 continents and 29 countries so far.
Like all of us I was pretty much stuck at home the most of 2020 and unfortunately it’s still ongoing. What we should see as an opportunity to get everything in place to start travelling again soon.
OUR year after the pandemic
Being honest, our frustration, about 4 canceled holidays, 2 getaways and 3 family- reunions the last few months, was just too big. And to prevent this from happening again we decided to go ahead with a bit more flexibility. Or should I say spontaneity!
We won’t set fix dates for new journeys quit yet. Besides I don’t have a consisting source of income at the moment either and we just got back our money for all those cancelled trips.
Instead my better half and me came up with a crazy and incredibly amazing idea, which we call “our year after the pandemic”. What basically means, when ever the borders are open again and we finally have our freedom of movement back, the year starts. We already agreed on 17 destinations for the duration of 12 months.
Do you think we’re able to achieve that?
We’re pretty certain it will be possible and we can’t wait to start travelling again. All toes and fingers crossed we don’t need to wait much longer, In the mean time I’m getting the travel itineraries ready to go and give you inspiration and a helping hand to get you going again as well.
